Gilded belt-finials/pendants in the shape of codices

Gilded bronzework in the shape of a miniature sacral book – codex decorated with filigree and granulation building crosses on all the five discs. It is a unique item, a specific evidence of court culture in Great Moravia; it is interpreted either as a belt end or as a reliquary. It comes from a grave of a very rich woman.
